This project explores how pressure affects various types of molecule-based magnets. By combining structural and magnetic characterization techniques, it seeks to uncover relationships between molecular structure and magnetic properties under high-pressure conditions.
The aim of this project is to examine the effects of pressure on molecule-based magnets ranging from Single-Ion Magnets (SIMs) and Single-Molecule Magnets (SMMs), to Single-Chain Magnets (SCMs) and Magnetic Metal-Organic Frameworks (MMOFs).
The use of high-pressure offers the potential to provide detailed information concerning correlations between structure and magnetic properties within the same molecule.
