This project aims to unify research efforts in many-valued logic among European and Latin-American scholars. It seeks to create a formal system to address vagueness and uncertainty in real-world phenomena, enhancing applications like medical expert systems through collaborative research and knowledge sharing.
Driven by the increasing demands in Mathematics, Philosophy and Computer Science, the last two decades witnessed a growing interest in non-classical and many-valued logics.
Until not too many years ago, many-valued logics were nearly a curiosity.
