The capabilities of chemical composition nanoscale mapping are of utmost importance for the advance of microelectronics, power storage, cellular biology, 2D and quantum materials, sensors, photovoltaics, etc.
Molecular distribution can be precisely analyzed with secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS).
