This project develops an adaptive wing tip concept to control aerodynamic deflections during flight. It includes a design tool using reduced order models to optimize internal structures and actuators for enhanced performance.
An adaptive wing tip concept will be developed to enable controlled wash-in and wash-outthroughout the entire flight envelope.
