This project trains researchers in the use of Monte Carlo event generators, crucial for high energy particle physics. It aims to enhance skills in experimental planning, data analysis, and simulation of fundamental interactions, while fostering collaboration across various research groups.
We propose a multi-site ITN consisting of 8 Full and 3 Associated Partners that will deliver a total of 500 ESR-months of training in the physics and techniques of Monte Carlo event generators to a total of at least 15 long-term and 40 short-term appointed researchers.Monte Carlo event generators are central to high energy particle physics.
