The MEDEIA project aims to enhance the development productivity of embedded control systems in industrial automation. By implementing a model-driven design method, it seeks to reduce system design time and improve the efficiency of automation solutions.
The level of automation and system complexity in factories and plants increases steadily which results in difficult and less-productive system engineering.
