The MENTOR project trains researchers in applying machine learning techniques to enhance multi-band optical communication systems. It addresses the growing demand for high-capacity networks by optimizing optical components and network management, leveraging collaboration between academia and industry.
Optical fiber networks is one of the major drivers of our societal progress and a key enabler of the global telecommunication infrastructure.
