The Mera system utilizes advanced fluid management technologies to culture and monitor 3D tissues in real time. It enables the maturation of various tissue types and the introduction of drugs or stains, all while simulating human organ interactions in a scalable and modular setup.
Using patented fluid management technologies, the Mera system has the ability to culture, drug & stain 3D tissues on a large scale while monitoring everything in real time, through a fully automated florescent microscope. 3D microtissues are added to a dedicated consumable bio-plate.
The plate is then integrated into the main Mera system. A chemical cocktail can be introduced to selected wells on a plate in order to mature the cells into different tissue types such as liver, heart, neuronal or…
