METABOFLOW aims to unravel the metabolic transfer of plant-derived bioactive compounds from mother to infant during pregnancy and lactation.
Fruits and vegetables, the main dietary sources of phenolics, carotenoids, and alkaloids, provide compounds with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and antimicrobial properties.
