This project focuses on developing a spatial single-cell metabolomics approach to analyze individual cell metabolite profiles. By linking metabolism to cellular phenotypes, it aims to enhance understanding of biological processes related to inflammation, cancer, and infection.

Metabolites define the composition of each cell and play key roles in essential intracellular processes of energy production and uptake, signaling, regulation, and cell death.
