This project investigates how human activities affect biodiversity by analyzing metacommunity processes. It aims to develop a framework for understanding biodiversity changes across different scales and to project future biodiversity scenarios to inform policy decisions.
Despite connections between metacommunity level processes that maintain biodiversity and anthropogenic pressures that erode those processes, these have not been well integrated.
