The METAFOAM project aims to develop new methods for creating structured materials using liquid foams and emulsions. By controlling the interactions of bubbles and drops, it seeks to produce materials with unique mechanical and acoustic properties, advancing both fundamental science and practical applications.
The astounding properties of metamaterials result from a characteristic spatial organisation of purpose-designed structural units.
