The project develops a new technique for the absolute quantification of proteins and peptides using a metal tagging method. This approach aims to improve the analysis of complex protein mixtures, particularly in bacterial proteomes and medical applications.
The quantitative analysis of protein mixtures is pivotal for the understanding of variations in the proteome of living systems.
