MIAR aims to demonstrate the use of a single radio technology, L-band digital aeronautical communication system, for integrated Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance services in aviation. The project will conduct flight experiments to optimize airspace use and enhance navigation capabilities.
In recent years a lot of attention has gone into the concept of integrating Communication, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) services.
