This project focuses on enhancing medical imaging through bio-inspired and soft computing techniques. It aims to train early-stage researchers in applying these methods to improve image processing and analysis, ultimately aiding clinicians in making better diagnostic and treatment decisions.
Medical imaging (MI) is at the heart of many of today’s improved diagnostic and treatment technologies.
Computer-based solutions are vastly more capable of both quantitative measurement of the medical condition and the pre-processing tasks of filtering, sharpening, and focusing image detail.
