This project develops a novel computational framework to model therapeutic resistance in triple negative breast cancer. By integrating gene networks and agent-based modeling, it aims to predict effective drug combinations and improve treatment strategies for this challenging cancer type.
The occurrence of therapeutic resistance is a major cause for the small effect on overall survival showed by targeted cancer therapies.
