This project focuses on developing a compact microwave process to treat drilling waste and land contamination, aiming to meet stringent oil content regulations. The goal is to provide an efficient and cost-effective solution for managing hazardous waste in the oil and gas industry.
Currently around 70 oil and gas exploration/production rigs drill in the North Sea and approximately 240 floating drilling rigs operate in the global industry.
