This project aims to advance the study of strongly-correlated quantum matter using quantum gas microscopy in ultracold gases. By manipulating interactions, it seeks to explore quantum phase transitions and transport properties at the atomic level, enhancing our understanding of many-body systems.
We propose to take the experimental investigation of strongly-correlated quantum matter in the context of ultracold gases to the next scientific level by applying “quantum gas microscopy” to quantum many-body systems with tunable interactions.
