This project addresses challenges in analyzing materials with microstructures across different scales. It aims to develop new mathematical theories and approaches to understand anisotropic materials and phase transitions effectively.
Over the past decades, experimental and computational advances have revolutionised our understanding of matter on the atomistic (microscopic) scale.
