This project focuses on neuroblastoma, a common childhood cancer, aiming to restore microRNA levels to combat tumor aggressiveness and chemotherapy resistance. It involves developing nanoparticle-based therapies and assessing microRNA as potential biomarkers for treatment response.
Neuroblastoma (NBL) is the most common solid tumor of infancy.
Nearly 45% of all children with NBL are designated as high-risk patients and 60% of them die.
