This research focuses on understanding the role of microRNAs in gene regulation, particularly their post-transcriptional regulation in cell differentiation. Using the model organism C. elegans, it aims to identify factors that influence microRNA expression patterns and their contribution to cellular diversity.
MicroRNAs are versatile regulators of gene expression and as such, they are essential parts of the gene regulatory networks controlling development and physiology of animals and plants.
