The MiSARAS project aims to create a solid-state platform for simulating mixed-spin quantum systems using semiconductor quantum dots. This innovative approach seeks to explore new quantum phases and enhance control over quantum dot arrays for advanced quantum technology applications.
Most quantum simulation platforms are limited to spin S = 1/2 systems, preventing access to the rich physics of mixed-spin quantum matter.
With MiSARAS I propose to develop the first solid-state platform for mixed-spin quantum simulation using gate-defined semiconductor quantum dots populated with multiple elementary charges to create artificial atoms with spin multiplicities exceeding 1/2.
