MITICS is focused on creating advanced organic electrochemical transistors for use in brain-computer interfaces. The project aims to develop low-power, high-gain circuits that improve signal quality and enable less invasive interactions between humans and machines.
MITICS will interface living systems with modern microelectronics creating major breakthroughs notably in healthcare.
We target alternative materials, advanced processing know-how and insights in device architectures to reach the following main twofold objective:
