This project develops innovative magneto-opto-acoustic nanodevices that enhance imaging and therapeutic capabilities in cancer treatment. By using monocytes to deliver these nanoparticles, the project aims to improve tumor penetration and therapeutic efficacy through advanced imaging techniques and localized therapies.
Nanoparticles are gaining increased biomedical relevance in cancer applications due to their theranostic capacity by integrating in a single entity imaging contrast in different biomedical techniques and local therapeutic action.
