This research program explores the factors influencing social mobility in Sweden by analyzing historical data on incomes and occupations. It aims to identify the drivers of mobility and their relationship with inequality and economic growth through three interconnected projects.
A society where individuals can pursue their dreams, striving to become whatever they desire, excels both in efficiency and equity.
