The MorphElle Project aims to develop an adaptive nacelle system for aircraft propulsion, focusing on reducing emissions and noise. It will involve designing a flexible nacelle concept and conducting mechanical tests to evaluate its performance and potential benefits for future aviation.
Flightpath 2050 and the recently unveiled Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) have elaborated CO2-emissions and external noise targets according to chronologically aligned waypoints.
