The MOVES project aims to develop an algorithm for retrieving key vegetation metrics from Sentinel-2 satellite data. This will enhance monitoring of vegetation health and productivity, crucial for agricultural and ecological applications.
Leaf Area Index (LAI), Fraction of green Vegetation Cover (FCOVER) and Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FAPAR) are key biophysical variables representing the status and functioning of vegetation.
