This project aims to improve magnetic resonance imaging by developing advanced shimming technology to enhance image quality. By addressing current limitations in shimming subsystems, it seeks to facilitate better diagnostic capabilities in clinical settings, particularly for high-field MRI.
Magnetic resonance (MR) imaging and spectroscopy critically relies on the homogeneity of the main field.
