This project focuses on the structural analysis of plant cell walls, aiming to create a detailed spatial model of their components. By using advanced imaging techniques, it seeks to enhance understanding of the cell wall's organization and its biological functions.
The plant cell wall is dynamic, complexes structure composed of polysaccharides divided into fibrillar (cellulosic) fraction and extracellular matrix (hemicelluloses and pectins).
All the components are arranged in a network structure characteristic of the cell wall.
