The Mucky project aims to convert municipal waste into valuable hydrocarbons using a unique thermal cracking process. This innovative approach seeks to address the challenges of waste management by providing a sustainable alternative to landfilling and incineration.
In Europe, each year 250 Mton municipal waste streams (MWS) are produced of which about 55% is non-recyclable and currently dumped on landfills or incinerated.
