The MuCol design study explores the feasibility of a novel muon collider for particle physics, aiming to address key technical challenges and assess its potential as a sustainable energy frontier facility. The project evaluates the scientific and societal impacts of this advanced technology.
Two facility concepts have been considered as potential pathways to the future of particle physics at the energy frontier in Europe:
