The project focuses on developing a novel medical device called Multi4 for the treatment of bladder cancer. This innovative tool allows for flexible cystoscopy, enabling local treatment during a single visit, which can significantly improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs.
Bladder Cancer (BC) is the 5th most common cancer in Europe with the incidence of 175.000 cases annually and has the highest lifetime treatment cost of all cancers.
