MultiScaleHuman focuses on understanding musculoskeletal diseases through a multi-scale biological data visualization system. It trains researchers to improve diagnosis and treatment of these disorders, which are prevalent among older adults.
Musculoskeletal diseases (MSD) and related disorders are often considered as an inevitable consequence of aging and they account for the largest fraction of temporary and permanent disability.
