This project develops a mass spectrometry technique to analyze the vaginal microbiome, aiming to improve reproductive health diagnostics. It focuses on predicting success rates of in vitro fertilization and identifying patients at risk of premature birth through metabolomic analysis.
There is ever increasing evidence that the vaginal microbiome plays an important role in reproductive health.
