This project aims to develop a novel catalytic material for diesel particulate filters to reduce harmful emissions from diesel engines. By creating a nanofibrous structure, the research seeks to enhance the combustion of particulate matter at lower temperatures, improving engine performance.
Reducing diesel particulate matter (DPM) is a key research area for automotive OEMs in order to meet the more and more stringent emission regulations.
