This project aims to create macrophage-mimicking nanocarriers for targeted delivery of dexamethasone to treat Inflammatory Bowel Disease. By enhancing drug delivery efficiency and reducing side effects, the project seeks to advance nanomedicine and improve therapies for chronic inflammatory conditions.
In this project, we propose to develop innovative macrophage-mimicking nanocarriers (MMCs) with fusogenic properties (FMMCs) for the targeted delivery of dexamethasone to inflammation sites, particularly for treating Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).
