This project aims to enhance understanding of how humans perceive touch and develop advanced sensors that mimic human haptic responses. It integrates various scientific fields to create robotic systems capable of exploring surfaces, improving applications in healthcare, security, and product evaluation.
The main scientific aims are to radically improve understanding of the human mechanotransduction system and tissue engineered nanobiosensors.
