The NANOBOTS project focuses on creating advanced nanomachines capable of targeting and treating metastatic cancers. These nanobots will utilize specific cell-surface proteins to navigate and activate prodrugs directly within cancer cells, enhancing treatment precision and effectiveness.
Multifunctional nanodevices have recently emerged as one of the most exciting new classes of drug delivery machineries to perform abiotic prodrug activation in living systems.
