This project is developing a hydraulic steering system for sailing boats that uses water instead of oil, eliminating the risk of environmental contamination. The system aims to simplify installation and maintenance, addressing a gap in the market for sailing vessels.
A vast majority of the sailing boats currently sailing the world’s seas are being steered with a complex mechanical steeringsystem.
