This project aims to improve predictions of global sea level changes by developing a model that incorporates the interaction between glacier ice, water, and sediment. It seeks to address current model limitations by including sediment transport processes beneath ice sheets.
Global sea level changes are grand humanitarian challenges in the 21st century and beyond.
The biggest contributor and uncertainty to sea-level projections is dynamical ice-mass loss from the Antarctic Ice Sheet.
