This project investigates the relationship between musical rhythm expertise and speech rhythm perception. By comparing brain responses of musicians and non-musicians, it aims to uncover shared mechanisms in processing rhythm across music and language.
For the past 30 years, the use of neuroimaging in cognitive neuroscience has challenged the traditional modular view of the human brain and has highlighted the necessity for cross-domain research.
