This project aims to develop new methods and tools for managing and accessing vast amounts of information on the Web. By leveraging Semantic Web technologies, it seeks to create knowledge networks that enhance collaboration and improve access to knowledge for individuals, businesses, and governments.
The Web has enabled information creation and dissemination, but has also opened the information floodgates.
The enormous amount of information available has made it increasingly difficult to find, access, present and maintain the information required.
As a consequence, we are drowning in information and starving for knowledge.
