This project investigates how we acquire knowledge by examining the neurobiological mechanisms of memory. It focuses on the roles of novelty and prior knowledge in learning, utilizing animal experiments and human brain imaging to explore how new information integrates into existing memory frameworks.
This Co-Investigator Application is an interdisciplinary experimental analysis of the neurobiological mechanisms by which we acquire knowledge.
