This project investigates the early inhalation of Budesonide to reduce the risk of bronchopulmonary dysplasia or death in preterm infants. It aims to determine its effectiveness in improving survival without bronchopulmonary dysplasia at 36 weeks gestational age through a randomized clinical trial.
HYPOTHESIS:
Early inhalation of Budesonide (BS) reduces the absolute risk of developing bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD) or death in preterm infants born between 23 and 27 weeks gestational age (GA) by 10%.
PRIMARY
OBJECTIVE:
Survival without BPD at 36 weeks GA.
