neutrinoSPHERE investigates astroparticle physics using Spherical Proportional Counters and Machine Learning techniques. The project aims to explore the nature of neutrinos and dark matter, focusing on phenomena like coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering and dark sector components.
neutrinoSPHERE, following a multidisciplinary synergic approach, will comprehensively investigate the wider aspects of astroparticle physics.
It will exploit the potential of Spherical Proportional Counters (SPC) developed by NEWS-G Collaboration and will develop novel tools based on Machine-Learning (ML) techniques to conclusively respond to long-standing puzzles in particle physics such as the nature of neutrinos and the existence of dark matter (DM).
