This project focuses on improving light emitting electrochemical cells (LECs) by synthesizing stable copper-based materials for flexible and customizable lighting solutions. It aims to develop devices that emit polarized light and cover a broader spectrum, addressing limitations of existing technologies.
Light emitting electrochemical cells (LECs) are key devices in the future development of lighting technologies as they are much more competitive than OLEDs from an economic/manufacturing point of view.
