The NIR-NanoCAR project aims to develop a novel immunotherapy for pancreatic cancer using near-infrared light to activate thermosensitive liposomes and exosomes. This approach targets mutated KRAS and seeks to improve treatment efficacy while minimizing side effects.
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is one of the deadliest cancers with a 5-year survival rate under 10%.
