The NOGAP project aims to develop an automated device for achieving Natural Laminar Flow surface requirements in aircraft manufacturing. It integrates advanced technologies for surface finishing and aims to enhance production efficiency in smart factories.
Natural Laminar Flow (NLF) has been identified as a key technology to contribute to the reduction of emissions in aircraft transport.
However, the stringent NLF surface requirements are difficult to be reached with conventional manufacturing processes.
