This project aims to enhance understanding of atmospheric composition over geological time by analyzing noble gases. It involves developing advanced mass spectrometry techniques to study noble gas isotopes from various sources, contributing to knowledge about Earth's early habitability and climate change.
This proposal has the objective to greatly enhance our understanding of sources, sinks and processes fixing the composition of the atmosphere at different time periods of time, from 3.8 Gyr ago to Present.
