The NOVIMOVE project aims to enhance inland waterway transport efficiency by optimizing logistics and navigation. It focuses on improving container load factors and reducing waiting times at ports and waterways through innovative technologies and better coordination.
Inland Waterborne Transport (IWT) advantages as low-energy and low CO2 emitting transport mode are not fully exploited today due to gaps in the logistics system.
